Which build should I pick?

Hey guys I have two systems I can't choose which one:

I will be gaming/recording/editing

Build 1:
- i7 3770k
- Internal GPU, wait for 8000 series
- 8GB Corsair Vengence 1600 DDR3
- Asus Maximus V Extreme
- AX750 Gold Plus
- Seagate 3TB 7200 RPM
- NZXT Phantom 630 Gunmetal
- H100i

Build 2:
- i5 3570k
- XFX 7970 GHz Edition
- 8GB Corsair Vengence 1600 DDR3
- Asrock Z77 Extreme4
- AX750 Gold Plus
- Seagate 2TB 7200 RPM
- NZXT Phantom 630 Gunmetal
- H100i

Which build? I'm kind of leaning toward waiting for the 8000 Series GPUs.

it actually depends on the use of the system!for gaming go for the second build!also you may need 600 or 650w psu you dont really need so much psu!i also think that 2tb is not really needed save your money for 1tb of drive!

Is the Asrock extreme9 worth the upgrade to the extreme9 if I havent bought it yet?

The 9 is more of a server board. Two RJ45's. Other than that it allows a bit more aggressive OC of memory. If you are only looking for a good gaming machine and not a workstation, I'd say no. Its three times the price.

The 9 comes in 2011, 1155 and AM3+. I assume he's asking about the 1155.
