Just a quick question, If you are running a 64bit operating system, but most games are 32 bit from what I understand, are the games utilizing all your cores and ram?
I have an i5 and 6 gigs of ram.

Those games install in the Programs x86 directory. I don't know of any game demanding more than the 32-bit limitation of 3.8GB ~ RAM limit. The OS still has access to all of your RAM. Example... BF3 will ask for rough 1.4-1.8'ish GB of memory when it is opened even when using high textures and such. certain games will make use of multiple cores while others will not depending on developers willingness to include it in the game. It has little to do with x86 or x64 architectures.

CPU cores, it could be depending on the game. The number of course and 32/64 bit has nothing to do with each other.

The amount of RAM, each 32-bit process can use up to a full 4GiB of RAM in a 64-bit system. Games are designed so they will fit within this limit.
