Hey everyone,
I have been collecting parts over the past year and a bit (on a student budget) and now I am ready to finally build the system. Here is the list of parts:
CPU: i7 2600 Sandy Bridge (from older machine)
Motherboard: Asus P8z68-V Pro Gen3
CPU cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus
RAM: 8GB Dual Channel DDR3 @ 665 MHz (9-9-9-24) - thinking I might need to update, from an older machine
PSU: Antec 750W True Power 80 Plus Bronze
GPU: MSI GTX 460 Hawk x2 SLI'd
Case: Phantom 630 (got it as a gift!)
HDD: 1.5 TB WD Green WDC WD15EARS-60MVWB0 5400 RPM
SSD: The last part I have to get, I am looking at getting the Samsung 840 Pro 256GB for $239.99.
If I've left anything out let me know, does it look like a decent build? I'll be using it as an all purpose machine, I have it hooked up to a 50 inch tv to watch movies, play games like BF3, browse web etc.
Thanks for the advice!
