Is is possible at all to mount my cougar HBD 140mm to the front on my NZXT Phantom without long fan screws? i can't access the back of the mount at all because the HDD bay is to close so i can't screw it in from the back or pull the tool-less pull though. any help? this is making me feel really dumb....

Why wouldn't you use the long fan screws that come with the case?

Don't think they did come with the case but if they did i don't have them. The case doesn't come with a front fan installed and i bought this case around 2 years ago. i know im going to have to go buy them honestly don't know why i posted...

I just recently got this case, and while there is no stock fan in the front, they do give you the screws to mount your own fan. The only way to mount your fan without modding is those screws.

You could always use some zip ties.

The HDD rack is in the way; you can't reach your hands in there.

That sucks. Hmm, perhaps a pair of tweezers or something? I dunno, I would probably just hop down to some hardware shop and pick up a bunch of screws that look like they fit. (maybe take a fan for size comparison) I doubt screws are expensive.
