Hello again, I was wondering this 3 pin Y splitter works with 4 pin fan headers. My motherboard is a Gigabyte UD3H Z77 and all the fan headers are 4 pins. Is it better to buy a fan extension cable or just go with a long Y fan splitter? I will be connecting my 3 pin CM Sickleflow fan (rear) to a 4 pin fan header. Thanks again for dropping by
Here is the link of the Y fan splitter.

It will work but you don't need to spend unnecessary money. On very bottom right corner of your motherboard says SYS_FAN1. Plug your fan in on the left so that it leaves an empty pin on the right of the connector. I think this is how it works. If not then switch it around so that the empty pin is on the left. It's one or the other. I did it in the past.
