My desktop was bought in 2009 and i have come to realize that it has a bad video card. I have a AMD radeon Hd 3200 and i am wondering what graphic cards are able to replace my current one. I am looking to get a amd radeon 6000 series but i have heard that getting a video card also depends on the motherboard. could someone explain how they connect?

Is the radeon 3200 an actual video card? Or an integrated?

Your motherboard will likely not be an issue. What CPU and power supply you have will be.

Do you have a link to the model and specifications of your PC?

Thanks. This gives me an idea about your processor, but not the power supply. I need to know either the make and model of your PC or for you to open up the case and read some information off the power supply.
