I currently have a samsung 840 120gb SSD set up as my OS/startup program drive, and everything else like user folder and non essential programs on the 3TB seagate drive. I also have 500GB seagate drive attached too but im not sure how to really effectivly use it other then backup my external HDD with it.
Anyways my 830 128GB SSD just shipped tonight so I should be getting it this weekend. So my question is how should I effectively use this 2 SSD, 3TB HDD, 500GB HDD.
Should I clone my 840 to my incoming 830? - I didnt know the write speed for the 840 120gb was horrible.
If I make the 840 a Program/game install drive will the poor write speed effect game load speeds?
This is my first time having a rig with multiple drives. Too be honest I was always content with 500gb cuz I would never achieve filling up the storage space above 250gb.
edit: also if i decided to clone the drive, what tool should i use? Would it be better to use the included samsung software to clone? After the cloning process do i just format the original drive?
