I have motherboard: ASUS F1A55 + proc: AMD A8-Series X4 3870K
discrete video card: PCI-E ATI Radeon 6670 ASUS
windows 8
-----------
This motherboard dont have HDMI/DVI output but specification at asus.com says:
- Integrated AMD Radeon™ HD 6000 Series Graphics in Llano APU
- AMD® Dual Graphics technology support
- AMD CrossFireX support
-----------
i want dual graphics, but i get it only than swith to enable "IGFX Multi-Monitor" option.

after that i get 2 video cards in device manager:
- Radeon 6550D
- Radeon 6670

Catalys Center give me to choise to enable dual graphics.

after that i goin to device manager and it still shows me only:
- Radeon 6550D
- Radeon 6670
with out any word dual graphics in cards name as i seen on video solution on youtube.

Well i thougt it worked for me anyway...but it's not.
--------------------
I starting a game Bioshok in windowed mode. Amd dual graphics logo appear in top right corner. I use "AMD System Monitor " to check how much load on video cards is....And i was dissapointed...
Radeon 6670 - 98% load
Radeon 6550D - 0% load

How i can enable true dual graphics for my system?

this is what you need to do. Install the latest grphics driver for your card. Try catalyst 13.1. Make sure you have the latest version of AMD vision Engine Control Center(VECC). Once your gpu drivers are installed, Get to the "Performance" section in VECC and you'll see option to "Enable Crossfire" check that box and you have the Dual graphics cross fire running.

good luck

After clicking download button on page that u show, i get another:
http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/downloads.aspx
from this page i downloaded :
- AMD Radeon™ Graphics Drivers
- - Latest AMD Catalyst™ Drivers for Radeon™ HD 7000, HD 6000, HD 5000 Series
- - -> Windows 8 64-bit Driver
They are the same what i already have.

Anyway i installed it..but checkbox crossfire not appear in Vision Engine Control Center.

what is the magic "DG" option should be in BIOS on?

Here is option what i have in NB Configuration:

- IGPU Multi-Monitor [Enabled] - if i set disabled GPU video 6550D not appear in windows
- Primary Video Device [PCIE/PCI Video] - other choises absent
- Integrated Graphics [Force] - could be auto, 1gb 2gb and so on....already try all this options.

In Bios

Under the [ADVANCED] tab there should be a option for [Northbridge], the iGPU and PCI-e is controlled by the Northbridge controller. Inside the Northbridge option you should get options for Discrete/Integrated and there should be an enable Dual Graphics/Crossfire setting along with how much dedicated memory is required, display adapter output etc.

There should be a option that says which output is preferenced ie: PEG or Onboard, the onboard must be set as DG runs through the iGPU not the discrete card. If it is not under the NB settings then it may be under advanced bios settings where you set hard drive preferences, basically you need to have your primary output set to the onboard or DG will not work, set the amount of dedicated memory to 1GB then restart (save settings under a profile in bios in case you have a no boot you don't have to reset settings).

In Windows

Right click>Catalyst Control Centre > Performance > AMD Crossfire > Enable.

I can not set preferenced Peg or Onboard course my motherboard dont have HDMI/DVI output.

^ Interestingly, AMD's FAQ page on DG suggests that Display should be connected to the discrete card. the board specs say it is DG ready.

Nix, I re-read your post and and I think the problem is not with the way you've configured your DG. The problem lies with the Game. Bioshock 1 is DX 10 if I remember correctly. AMD says DG is not supported on DX9 games and only available on select DX 10 applications. Also, there is almost no info on how well DG is running on Windows 8.

I feel this is likely a software issue more than a hardware config one. You may mull over the option of starting from scratch which means doing a driver sweeper run and reinstalling the drivers. That FAQ has info on that as well.

I tested on Bioshoc Inifinite and Crysis 3 my hardware.
Well i think what more trouble from windows 8, mb drivers...but i already try install and unistalll drivers from the box and from amd sites....I gonna be more likely if i install windows 7. if nothing would help i will buy one more discrete graphic card 6670 for crossfire and forget about dual graphics.
Thank u guys for your help.

I am using a ASRock board and when you have a supporting Dual Graphics card a setting in BIOS appears for Dual Graphics TM, it would be nice to get a solution to this issue. Have you tried to email ASUS and find out direct as its not really a hard thing to do.

If you do crossfire, two 6670's albeit cheap should be able to match a 6800 part.
