I have tried GPU-Z and MSI Kombustor, neither one shows any gpu load at all, both remain at 0%

My video card is a 670gtx, and my mobo is sabertooth z77

what other programs can I see the gpu load with?

More about : gpu load showing program

Ugh....so...like....what are you doing to make the GPU's work? Just opening a program on the desktop will not make the GPU show a load. Play a game and alt tab out...

the games I have been running when checking are wow and swtor. I also have tried burn-in tests with furmark and kombustor. gpu-z and kombustor both up at same time, never a single pulse of gpu load. I have been watching my power consumption to gauge raised gpu activity, but I want to know the actual load %.

as far as afterburner is concerned, as I understand it, after burner doesn't actually read gpu info, it uses kombustor to do that. I still tried to use afterburner and got 0% gpu load.

My card works great, its stock cooling and I have it clocked pretty high, temps never get above 73. I just want to know the load % when i have all the setting at ultra but am afk while logged in and just doing nothing.

Have you used EVGA Precision in the past? This happened to me when I enabled K boost and neglected to turn it off before I uninstalled Precision. I had to reinstall and then disable K boost to be able to see my gpu load again.
