Hi there. I've googled and gone through quite a few forum posts with similar questions with no luck as to how I could get MINE working. My Sapphire 7770 Vapor-X runs quite cool and I am trying to get a decent overclock on it, problem is, I'm not able to so much as TOUCH the voltage on it. MSI Kombustor as well as EVGA Precision-X (also Trixxx) all, when voltage modding is switched on, only allow me to LOWER the voltage, never raise it. Anyone have any ideas how to get the voltage UP?

MSI 760GM-P23(FX) motherboard
Athlon II X3 440 (not stable if unlocked :/)
Sapphire 7770 Vapor-X 1GB OC Edition
2x2 Kingston DDR3 RAM @ 1333Mhz
Thermaltake 670w PSU
Win 7 x64 SP1

Solution
dont know about your card

but some cards are coming locked to stop you increasing the voltage

my gigabyte 7970 is one example

the revision 1 pcb can be overvolted but the revision 2 pcb cant no matter what i try

can lower the voltage but not increase it
