Okay so after recently getting my issues fixed up with my motherboard (NF520-A2 v6.1) i bought a new graphics card but when i install it into my PC my computer powers up but my monitor doesnt display anything, also i noticed when my computer powers up instead of making the usual single beep when it turned on it beeps around 5 times in a rapid succession. Can anyone advise me on whether or not ill be able to get this card to work in my PC,
as for specs
im running wondows 7 64 bit OS
5.00 GB RAM
AMD athlon 64 x2 Dual Core Processor 4000+ 2.10 GHz
550W PSU

advise/Aswers are as always greatly appriceated

UPDATE:
i noticed im actually running DDR2 RAM and on the packaging for the card it states what i presume is a minimum of 2gig DDR3 could this be the problem that i have overlooked and if so will my motherboard stated above be compatable with DDR3 RAM?

The card is DDR3 so it matters not with the system memory. Thats sort of like saying GDDR5 cards will not work in a DDR3 build. OP I recommend reseating everything from your ram to GFX card (dont bother with CPU) and seeing if it will boot. If it fails to boot then only try to boot using 1 stick of Ram and Graphics card to see if it works.
