I currently have a Antec EarthWatts EA750 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371026)
I'm looking at a SeaSonic X Series X-850 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151102)

System:
CM Storm Stryker Case (stock fans with LEDs off)
ASUS Sabertooth P67 1155 MB
2600K (OCed to 4.6, stock voltages)
Gigabyte Windforce GTX 670
4x4GB 1600 DDR3
1x SSD
4x 7200rpm drives
2x Green drives
2x Blu-ray burners
1x USB powered external drive
1x PCI sata3/usb3 card
I will temporarily plug in card readers, HDs and items to charge

The PC has been running 24/7 for two years on this PSU. I only turn it off when I'm away from the house for multiple days. I haven't had any issues with the current PSU. EDIT: I do remember the computer shutting off when I plugged in a wireless speaker to charge recently. It happened only once during multiple charges the past few months.

I may add another blu-ray burner. I'm not sure if I'll get another 670 and run SLI or wait and buy another single high end card in the future. I will likely upgrade to a Haswell i7 this year as well.

I used the PSU calculators online and I'm at the upper end figuring on worst case scenarios now and down the road. Should I wait until I need it? Should I go for the Seasonic 850, or possibly even go bigger if I would decide to run SLI? Is it worth putting hours on something bigger if I don't need yet? Do the Haswell CPUs use more or less power? I like to over think things, so I'll stop the 20 questions :D

Thanks for your input!

You will be fine with Seasonic X 850 very good psu you can do 680 SLI or you can go for 1000W going above 200-300W isn't bad when buying PSUs but you also need to get gold platinum rated @ that wattage.
(Antec EarthWatts EA750 can or might cut it but NOT wise to use it for SLI) Ofcourse you should wait till you actualy need the wattage.
Haswell CPUs should consume less power.
Hope I have nailed all the Q :)

Thanks for the help Imomun.

I guess the only other question I have is about the hybrid mode to cut down on the noise. Is it worth using this mode, any concerns with it?

The Seasonic is definitely a great deal at $110 after promo and MIR. If I can SLI safely, I'll likely just stick to the 850W for the price.
