PSU= ocz gx 850 , I want to run 2 xfx 7950 3gb in crossfire. the PSU has 1 line with a 6pin daisy chained to another 6 pin and a 6+2 pin daisy chained to a 6=2 pin .. not sure how I should hook up the power to these cards . should I use each line for each card or use 2 lines for 1 card and the molex to 6 pin 2 separate lines for the 2nd card ? or get a new PSU with 4 separate 6 pin lines

Since this is a 850W i don't think a new psu is needed. I don't really understand what is the problem but don't use power divider to plug your graphics card. Use the molex to pci-e instead, it's safer.

the problem is the 6 pin and 6+2 pin lines are daisy chained so there is 2 of each connector on each line .. the cards have 2 6pin connectors on each . right now I only have 1 card in with the 6 pin line and the 6+2 pin line plugged into it . the daisy chains from each line are just hanging there. if I put the second card in should I just plug in the 2 connectors hanging there or molex 2 separate lines to the second card - and how do I know if those lines that I want to molex to 6 pin are the same stats as the original pcie cables coming from the PSU

Ok now that's clear. I guess that it would work if you put 1 line per card (2 connectors on each card) because they wouldn't do it if it wasn't working. The worst thing that can happen is that the system don't boot. At that moment, just use molex to pci-e.
