I have just about finished customizing a MSI laptop for myself on xoticpc.com
The last thing I am stuck on though is whether I should spend th extra money to buy the GTX GeForce 680M card over the 675mx? The difference in price is about $300.
I will be using this laptop primarily for full high definition 1080p video and RAW photo editing. Programs include: Atfter Effects CS6, Photoshop CS6, Music Producing, Graphic Design and 3D art design, Lightroom 4, and video editing is in Sony Vegas Pro 12. (PS. desktop is not an option since I travel a lot)
Some of the specs:
-MSI GT60 0NE-403US
-12GB Kingston 1866Mhz HyperX CL11
-i7 3630QM 2.4ghz(~3.4 Turbo)
-Samsung 840 Pro 256GB SSD - Primary Drive
-Samsung 840Pro 128GB SSD
-Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
So, for what I need it for as I mentioned above, is the graphic performance going to be that much more significant for all this editing + rendering?
And I don't do any gaming so please disregard those benefits.
