Hi there! I just got a new display hooked up to my nVidia GTX 550 Ti through HDMI and suddenly my games start running a bit sluggishly. I used to run a monitor on VGA (same resolution), but I didn't have any problems.
I have to have the monitor hooked up to the HDMI port to watch 3D movies (It's a passive 3D monitor), but I don't use nVidia 3D Vision or anything like that. What could possibly be putting pressure on the card now? The games are the same, the card's the same, only the monitor and port it's connected to are different. As an added note: I don't run these games in 3D mode.
