A couple of weeks ago I purchased my school macbook from my school. Now before I bought it it had restrictions such as an admin account and parental controls etc. Obviously after I bought it all these restrictions were lifted apart from one. During school times in the week no matter if I am at home or in school if I try to open an application such as Spotify or Skype or any of the sort the application immediately closes so I am guessing that the IT department at my school added some scheduled application blocker on my mac and forgot to turn it off, I was just wondering if there is any way around this/turning it off for good.

Solution
Phone or email them, the people who installed/configured whatever it is are the only ones who will know what it is and how to remove it; it's also (probably) against the forum rules to help you get round something like this.
