I'm building a pc what graphicks card should I get

I am building a pc and I have Gigabyte GA-H61-MDS2 motherboard and I want to know which graphics card to get. I am looking for it to be higher end because I'm going to be running higher level games on a large display.

  1. You need to work on your spelling. Either a GTX Titan, GTX 690 or Radeon HD 7970.
  2. Depends on how much you want to spend. The GTX Titan and 690 - at $1K a piece probably are not the best values on the market.

I look at it this way:

Less than $150: Radeon HD 7770
    Between $150 - $200: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650TI BOOST
    $200 - $250: Radeon HD 7870 XT
    $250 - $300: Radoeon HD 7950
    $300 - $400: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670
$400+: Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition
  3. lol with out more information about your current PC, how much you want/willing to spend and the resolution and setting you want to play at on your monitor we can't really help you.
  4. My monitor is 37" but that doesn't matter because it's only 1920x1080.
Which is what we actually need to know...

Size means nothing, higher resolutions require a better video cards.

Personally I just bought an "MSI 7850 2GB OC TwinFrozr" and love it. I can max out most games on my monitor (at 1920x1080) but I'm not the kind of person to pitch a bunch of money at a video card. I paid $165. Some video cards make mine seem fairly cheap.

If you want top end I wouldn't do more than a 7970.
