Buying a New Gaming CPU and MOBO for under £200, need advice!!!

Hey, I am wanting a upgrade from my current Phenom II X4 965. I have been looking and in terms of the CPU, I can afford the FX 8320 or the FX 6300 along with a Mobo that supports OCing.

Is this the only option i have seeing as Intel is expensive.

  1. What is the current board you have now? A 965 still isn't a bad chip. If you don't have the money to upgrade now, save up and wait for haswell come June or Steamroller early next year.
  2. My current board is a Asus M4A78TE, it's faulty, the usb hubs are shorting (according to what someone told me when i explained that my devices are disconnecting). So I need to buy a new mobo and i thought, if i'm going to get a new mobo, i may aswell get a new cpu. If i save up for a intel, i will need to go a while with a mobo that shorts out at least once every 2 days.
