Dead pixel or screen artifact?

It could also be dust under the screen. I used to run an android empire and some of my "minions" would complain about dust that was under their screen. Then I noticed even mine was that way, and found out that it can happen to pretty much any phone while it's under assembly at the plant. I can assume that it could also happen to monitors, TVs, etc. If it bothers you, RMA it, thats the type of thing that can drive you nuts for years and years.

i did take a pic with a blue back ground but it just looks the same with a different color behind it im starting to think its a scratch on the LCD panel because if i hold my phones flash at an angle while the monitor is off i can still see the artifact

any ideas besides RMA?

thanks EVERYONE! i would RMA it but its not worth the 25$ dollars to ship it back and it has a three year warranty so if it gets worse ill RMA it later
