CPU vs Ram vs Hard drive

Hi guys! I am getting a high end custom dell precision laptop build. I have an extra $150 to spend. I can either get;

Upgrade in processor from 3740qm to 3840qm (2 mb l3 cache difference)

Ram upgrade from 8gb to 16gb

Or a second hard drive of 320gb (Regular) - Note: I already have a 256GB SSD as my primary hard drive.

Should I spend the money, and if so on what?

Thanks in advance!

P.S. Sorry if I didn't follow all the conventions. This is my first post.

Thanks for the responses. Another option is just to get a 1tb usb 3.0 portable external hard drive for $90.

Processor all the way, its the only component that cannot be user replaces, RAM and hard drive are easily replaced and in most circumstances it will cost you less to go minimum specs with both hard drive and RAM and then add your own once you receive the laptop.

I like to virtualize several machines at once while having 100+ browsers open. I am sitting on 12/16 GB used most of the day. Go with the RAM you can never have enough.

It feels good to have the world at your finger tips :pt1cable:

The i7-3840 is nice but I would expect you to run into RAM issues first. It depends on what you do exactly. I use the i7-3740qm and it is a beast of a chip in a laptop.
