Hey all, I'm finally beginning to entertain serious thoughts into creating a custom water loop for my computers. Right now I am planning to create a cpu loop inside my NZXT Vulcan case utilizing the 120mm front intake for my radiator. Not really too keen on tearing it apart and modding extensively to fit a 120mm rad. The rig in question is in my signature.

Now would it be worth it to consider building this loop? And how would it perform? After doing some basic shopping on frozencpu I saw my cart go well up beyond what I thought. Still a lot to learn in terms of picking parts but it seems that radiator sizes really did not have a significant impact on the grand pricing of things.

Thanks guys. If it is viable and somewhat better than the custom 120 CLC, I would be thankful for pump, reservoir suggestions. Thank you.

What is your reason to consider water cooling your CPU in the first place?

Does CPU overclocking limitations have anything to do with it?

Though Frozencpu is one of my favorite online stores, there's also Performance-PCs and Xoxide, it's usually best to shop around for the best prices.

New to water cooling start here first and educate yourself on what you may or may not need so you don't fall directly into outrageous suggestions, or suggestions that fall short of your needs or goals.

That's why I asked my first question, there's a big difference in overclocking for pretty, or cool looking, to Ohhh and Ahhh your friends, vs water cooling for overclocking performance gains with a hot CPU.
