This is the first build I will be doing. After a couple of weeks of choosing parts and doing lots of research I have come up with this for my budget. It's going to be a gaming rig that I'll play games like Arma, Minecraft, and Skyrim on the "High" setting and hope to get around 30+ FPS with it. Do you guys think I can do that with this build http://pcpartpicker.com/user/ck3/saved/1sZI ?

Solution
This will play at low settings at 1080p. Thats about it. The GPU is very low end. Do this instead: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($94.99 @ Newegg)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($29.99 @ NCIX US)
Motherboard: ASRock 880GM-LE FX Micro ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($54.99 @ Amazon)
Memory: Patriot Gamer 2 Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($47.98 @ NCIX US)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($55.98 @ Outlet PC)
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 650 Ti 1GB...

That looks great, and I probably should go with it just because statistically it is better for the same price... but what is wrong with my video card in the original?

Oh an the other motherboard was better...

EDIT: I like the other things you put in there but I'm going to go back to the old mobo. This one still fits my budget http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Rabv

Ok. That helps me understand thank you. I'll be going with this build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Rabv the only thing I changed was the motheboard because yours had less ram slots and no USB 3.0 and I wanted an ATX not a micro ATX.
EDIT: sorry stuff completely changed >.< Let me fix that link

That build is many orders of magnitude worse.

The CPU is older and slower.

The GPU is weaker even more than the gtx650

The PSU that comes with the case is trash.

The motherboard is super overkill.

This won't run games at 1080p. at all.

The build I posted is many times more powerful than this one.
