I am having the worst trouble trying to find a PC monitor that will work for me. I have never had this issue until LED LCD came out.

I have tried the ASUS VG248, Dell 2412M, Eizo FS2333. I have spyder Pro 4 i set the color to the correct brightness and calibrate it.

But every monitor i have used have given me the worst head ache and eye strain. I work on a monitor at work thats just LCD and a laptop i am a computer programmer and never had this issue.

I don't know what to do. Playing a pc game gets my head bumbing and eyes going in about 5 minutes of playing and i can't read anything on white background without going bonkers.

I have a 40 inch LCD monitor i play and watch tv on never had a issue.

I think it has something to do with the flickering on these White led monitors. i feel like the monitor is strobbing on me and it causes me it go coo coo

I need to find a gaming monitor that i can use and play with. I have a gaming computer with a 680 GTX 16gb of ram a i5 2500k overclocked.

If anyone can help me find a gaming monitor that i can use i would be very grateful.

try not the spyder, calibrate yung guides (like on the web, with images and all) but also calibrate with what is comfortable, esp brightness/contrast among others.

is the room well lit? i know the spyder is good, but try calibrating without it. or at least tone down the brightness/gamma or something

Read the review of the NEC monitor i posted there is a professional video editor that comments on the strobing effect of LED backlightling, and how this causes eye fatigue and headaches, sound familiar?

You can actually search newegg and alot of other sites by the criteria of the monitor having LED backlighting or not. So any without LED backlight should serve you fine.
