Would I Need 850W or 800W PSU to Run This?

Hi, any good psu with 750W and above will do the trick, the corsair G800 will do, but i wouldn't get it, there're better psus for less, get the xfx 750/850 in ncix.com, this one will do the trick : http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1850snlb9

IMO, the 680 gtx is not a good value, the 670 gtx is almost as good for a lot less, but i guess it's offtopic, but i would get two 670 gtx and spend in a better keyboard and mouse.

800 is enough for that system, overclocked, and still have the PSU running in an efficient 50-80% load when fully loaded or account for capacitor aging/heat. It would be hard to pull more than 600 watts from those components under load.

I would go for dual OC'd 670s with 4gb vram. Much cheaper and slightly better performance, and you don't have to worry about hitting the 2gb VRAM Limit. And the 800w PSU would be enough, as long as it's a good one. Just go for a good one that you can get for a better price.

Are you planning on gaming on both monitors or having game on one and other stuff open on the other? First or third person games are going to look hosed up if played on two screens - your character and crosshair will be split with a bunch of bezel in between. If only gaming on one, dont need more than one gpu.

I'm planning using both for gaming and getting the dual GTX 680 to make it future proof.

Don't you have to consider the efficiency certification.

Hi, the efficiency certification is a plus, but what matters is if the psu can deliver the power and has the ripple and noise levels under the specs.
The xfx psu has better internal parts and has a better efficiency, i would get the xfx psu better quality, efficiency, low ripple and noise levels and it's cheaper.
I recommend getting either three monitors or just a single 1440p monitor, don't get two monitors just for gaming, you need three for nvidia surround gaming.
I still recommend getting two 670 gtx, you can save up to 300$ with two 670 gtx over two 680 gtx.

Nope, nothing but your power bill and how much CO2 is created depends on that, and even then not much.

Future proofing in computers generally doesn't work particularly well - stuff changes too fast. What costs $1000 this year will be beaten by $400 worth in a year and a half.

If we're arguing over best value-for-money, I'd have to vote 2x7970, maybe GHz Edition. Faster & cheaper than 2x680s, faster than 2x670s and not much dearer.

What would you recommend?

Also agree. go with 2 GTX670s and get a third monitor if you really want to do multi-monitor gaming. The performance difference between the 680s and the 670s is negligible, but the savings is not.

Hi, if you don't want a modular psu, get the xfx 750/850 core edition, if you want modular get the xfx 750 black edition, it has a higher efficiency(80 plus gold) and it's fully modular : http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1750bbefx

Remember, you can save a lot by going with two 670 gtx, they will perform about the same as two 680 gtx in sli for a lot less, you also get a lower power consumption, the ~300$ that you shave for going with two 670 gtx allows you to buy either a 1440p monitor or the triple monitor setup plus better keyboard and mouse.

Are you sure going 2 GTX 670's instead of 2 GTX 680's will be a small performance decrease?

YES!!! The difference between a 670 and a 680 is 10%. A small overclock on a 670 could easily reach 680 level of performance. Get a pair of these badboys. The 4gb VRAM will help when playing games on Multi Monitor setups and help future proof you a little bit.
