I have chosen these components for the build.

Power supply:

OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W Modular: $89.00

Graphics Card:

GeForce GTX 650 Ti- $150.00

Optical Drive:

LG CH12LS28 12X BD-R Blu-ray DVD Combo Drive: $55.00

Processor:

Intel Core i7 3770: $309.00

Mother Board:

ASUS P8H77-M Motherboard: $85.00

Memory:

G.Skill Ares F3-1600C10D-16GAO 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3: 129.00

Hard Drive:

Western Digital WD Blue WD10JPVT 1TB: $89.00

I would like to know what I should change to get this build between $900-$1000. Also would these components be Compatible with each other.

Solution
Downgrade the i7 to an i5 unless you're video editing, 16GB to 8 unless you're doing editing, the case to an NZXT Phantom 410, and upgrade the GPU to a 660 or 7870 XT.

An i5 and 8GB of RAM will easily handle that. The GPU is more important than the CPU for that.

Is there a cheaper power supply, but is still capable to run all the components. Also I would like to stay with 16GB ram, cause of the the programs that i'll be running (E.g photoshop, Autodesk maya and more. Also with the optical drive can I downgrade it?
