did i make the wrong choise?

i just bought a gtx 660 from evga the sc edition and overclocked it 60mhz on the core clock and 160 on the mem clock but then i though about the 7870 did i make a mistake buying the 660? i only do gaming and i have a fx 6300 with 4 gigs of ram because my other stick got LOL

Thats not a benchmark. Thats just a bar graph to the obvious specs that are located on the box of your cards. Doesnt say which card is stronger.
 
I can't imagine a 4% difference is anything to get your dander in an uproar over. Besides, you get to enable PhysX now, which you can't with the 7870. Enjoy!

Im pretty sure thats factory overcocked to factory overclocked.It comes down to this a maxed overclocked 7870 will spank a maxed overcloced gtx 660 in every game pretty much.Overclocking a 7870 to full potential you are getting stock 7950 numbers in which that twin frozr isnt touching.With that said i own 2 gtx 660 gigabyte cards and have been pretty happy with them.Since the op is into overclocking theres no contest here the 7870 kills the gtx 660 hands down but the 660 is still a great card
