Sunday, I ordered a new 23" LED monitor from Newegg and got it earlier today via UPS. The delivery man dropped it on the front step and left before I even got out the door.
First thing I noticed was a huge gash on the box, but I kept my hopes up and opened it anyway. When I got the monitor out, I noticed a coin sized scratch on the screen and is very noticeable.
I called Newegg right away and they filed a damage claim and UPS is supposed to be getting in contact with me. Problem is, I need this monitor ASAP. I can't afford to wait 1-3 weeks for all this to settle and get a new replacement.
I guess my question is, does anyone have any tips or pointers on how to speed up this process? Any help is appreciated.
