Two power inputs off single cable ok?

I have a Corsair CX600M PSU that came with a single PCIe 8-pin cable - but the cable has two 6+2 connectors on it. Would I be safe using this to connect a graphics card with two power inputs on it?

Normally, I would assume that if there were two plugs on a cable, the cable would be capable of fully supplying both plugs, so this should be fine, but I wanted to confirm with someone who knew more about what they were doing.

Yes.
Some GPU Cards have single PCIe 8-pin others two 6+2 connectors.

Follow this simple steps : if you see GPU PCIe power connector -> connect it
If you LAC 8-pin or 6-pin PSU cables you can use Molex to PCIe power conectror adapter cables.
