AMD 7970 Overclocking

I have a Diamond AMD Radeon HD 7970...I use the catylist overdrive to overclock it and it works really well but I think it can handle more than its highest settings catalyst will allow...Can anyone point me in a direction to overclock it higher? I tried looking for third party software but didnt see anything credible.

Another thing ive noticed is lets say you go over 1100 mhz core in msi afterburner it should open up 1200 mhz in catalyst control center atleast it did for me

Well u can go to 1150 core and 15something mem in catalyst. What are you saying there are contingencies that show up in catalyst if you change something in msi?
