i need to know the ram limits of ecs motherboard

i have an ECS 954GCT-M3 motherboard and all i need to know is what the limits of the ram i can install on it, and also what kind of ram because i see like ddr2 and ddr3 etc. and it confuses me to no end. any help would be appreciated thank you.
