Hello, I was wondering if anyone could figure out why my dual displays isn't working

My setup involves a Core i3 2.4 GHz PC with 4 GB RAM running Win7 64bit
The graphics card I am using is the XFX Nvidia GT240

I have setup up two monitors. A DVI and a HDMI. The two monitors worked perfectly fine simultaneously last night. However, this morning when I turned on my computer, the HDMI monitor was not receiving any signal.

Note that the DVI monitor is working perfectly fine. Control panel and NVIDIA control panel both show that the monitor is connected and the resolution is intact. However, nothing is being displayed.

My Samsung SyncMaster T240 is connected by DVI to DVI cable

My Asus ML238H is connected by HDMI to HDMI cable

What do you mean by power cycling? Also, do I turn on my display after or before I turn on my PC.

F.Y.I, If it helps, I didn't get a HDMI to HDMI cable with my monitor. I got a HDMI to DVI cable. My Asus screen doesn't have a DVI port so I'm guessing the HDMI end goes to the monitor. Will there be any problem if I keep it HDMI to HDMI?

Power cycling simply means powering down and then back on.

Although there shouldn't be any issues with HDMI to HDMI, the Asus display that you mentioned does have a DVI connection.

Can you check to see that your ASUS display is set to the right input mode? It should be set to HDMI.

The display doesn't have a DVI port. You can check the newegg link I posted as well. It states "D-Sub, HDMI 1.3". And yes, the source is set to HDMI. It says "HDMI no signal". And yeah, I have tried turning my display on and off and changing the source from D-SUb to HDMI while my computer was on. It wasn't responding...

I am not sure why Newegg has DVI indicated in the details tab.

Power down your machine and connect the ASUS monitor with the DVI to HDMI cable and disconnect the other screen to troubleshoot. After restarting your PC, if the Asus display works, power down your machine and connect the Samsung display using the HDMI cable. If the Samsung now has issues displaying an image then the problem is with either the HDMI cable or video card.
