Hi, i have an old PC which was working flawlessly since i bought it with following specs:
ASUS P5k MB
Intel Q6600
450W PSU
Corsair 6GB DDR2 800 RAM
Asus gt560 video card

Ok, problems started when suddenly my PC won't wake up sometimes from hibernate at the morming. It keeps loading but showing nothing on the screen it only wake up after complete reset(hold power button wait a bit then power on). And week later it just stop working at all. Quick google search showed it probably is PSU so i bought new one Chieftec 600W. Then my PC started fine and worked for a day. Next morming it won't wake up from hibernate again and nothing was working again. I tried to do power on test outside of case with just one ram stick, video card and CPU but still no luck. I've had a green light on MB but when i press power on fans would barely move and then nothing. So i thought it probably MB then and went to buy used P5k(exactly the same) MB. Then i tried to test it again with minimal configuration outside of the case but right now got only fans for cpu, video card and psu start spinning then briefly stop and proceed to spin until i turn off the power. Still no POST, no beeps, no nothing. When i was keep trying i was able to get a POST once somehow, but next power on was the same as before no luck since. I didn't have speaker, i'm not sure should i hear a POST beep then or any beeps whatsoever? This only leaves CPU, all 4 ram sticks or video card as faulty parts. My video card is only couple months old, so it is highly unlikely it is faulty.
Things i've tried:
Reseting CMOS
Replacing MB(which i assume is working)
Check every memory slot on both MB with every memory stick
Replaced PSU(wasn't sure old one was faulty since i test it with paper clip and it was working)
Check CPU with finger during power on - it was hot
Did a magic clear voltage trick with holding power on button for 30 sec without power

What was really confusing is how i was able to get it POST once but no more after that despite nothing really changed. Any ideas?

Sadly i dont have onboard graphics or any spare video card to check it. Regarding CPU i was checking if it was receiving power and working by power on without CPU cooler and check it with my finger then quickly shut down power so it wouldn't burned. I already ordered new PC since parts for my socket is hard to find and it doesnt make much sense to throw money at old platform. But im still curious to find what the problem is.
