Okay so I have a USB 4G Huawei 392 modem on my gaming pc and I'm trying to share the connection through crossover rj45 cable to my xbox but I find myself confused and unable to connect them properly. I just want to be able to access Live, I don't care about that windows media center sharing.
Anyone know how it's done? I thought it would be easy enough to enable ICS through usual properties-sharing tab but the damn Huawei doesn't even give me access to that tab and similarly I can't bridge them, trying to bridge from the ethernet adapter gives me error that I can't bridge because I only have one connection
Solved: Embarrassingly enough, I found the cause to the problem being my own fault. I had the rj45 connection shared earlier and forgot to turn sharing it off. Turned it off and now I can share the 4g connection properly
