Hi all,

I bought a Sapphire HD7970 Vapor-X. Brand new, checked everything. I scratched the "postcard" and saw the unique code. Here is the problem:

The code I see is 5 sets of 4 characters. xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx (20 characters)

In AMD website, the box for typing in the ID is 4 sets of 3 characters. xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx (12 characters)

Of course my 20-character code won't work. What's wrong........ It is driving me crazy...

Did you try not entering the dashes between the x on the website, or are they there by default? Otherwise, try contacting their customer support.

Yup, no dashes of course. Basically, the redemption card looks legit. The Unique Coupon Code I got is 20 characters total. In the AMD Never Settle (Reload) website, I can only type 12 characters in total.

Wonder what's wrong...

I bought Sapphire 7870 OC and the card was missing. After registering the card and contacting Sapphire support, after sending proof of purchase by email, I got the code (12 digits) within 1 hour.

So my point is: contact Sapphire for help.

So you contacted Sapphire support instead of AMD support?

(also I am not sure if I should include my 20-character redeem code in the support email for AMD/Sapphire)

OK so apparently I am not the only one encountering this problem. I've contacted AMD, Sapphire, and the retailer. I've been told they are working with AMD to have this issue solved.

So looks like the problem solved by itself... Thanks everything for the replies.
