sony vaio e series operating system not found

i tried to install windows 8 on my sony vaio e series but the installation was incomplete because my vaio accidentally shut down. now when i tried installing it again from usb. a message appears " operating system not found ". what can i do? my vaio had an incomplete setup...pls help me

Start the installation again. Ensure that your USB is the first device in the Boot order.

USAFRet said it right must boot from usb first, might try hit f12 for boot order select boot from usb first then it should restart and finish

i already tried it several times but the same message appears. what else can i do?

I guess I would wipe the drive and restart it again from the start all over again making sure your using a full version of win 8 and not a upgrade version which could only be used if you already have a up-gradable version already in the system.
