When I installed my GTX Geforce 660 grpahics card, It didnt feel like a smooth install. It felt like things were grinding past each other as I inserted it into the PCI-E 3.0 Slot. I seem to have gotten it in my motherboard and I screwed the graphics card into the chassis. This has been bugging me a lot lately and have I damaged my graphics card?

I do not thing you did anything wrong. I just got a new case and took my gtx 680 (which is a huge card) in and out of mobo about 4-5 times (made dumb mistake not related) and did not do any damage. Everything today is decently sturdy including mobos. When you put it in you should feel like a small thud like the slid in and then the little white holder snaps into place(the button you press to release gpu) if anything just pop it out then put it back in. If your uncertain its all the way it give it little presure to make sure or just check the GPU lock is all the way up.

You would probably know right away if you damaged anything. It all runs on an electrical circuit, so if anything's broken, it just wouldn't run right.
