Since the whole rig's getting a bit old, I'm just looking to keep it working for a couple more months and then pass it on to a relative.
Biostar 550 SE, dual-core Athlon 3600, 2 GB RAM, 500w PSU with decent amps, Win XP.
My gaming needs are pretty simple. RPGs, strategy games, maybe a few other things. I'm not likely to run anything more demanding than ME3 for a while, and the person I'm passing the rig on to is a non-gamer.
So, a 6670 for USD $50 after rebate? Or should I go even lower for the moment? It's not like I'm used to anything really good, after all.
