Optical Drive weird sound

So, whenever I power on my PC, it makes a sound as if something moved inside the optical drive. Sort of like a mechanical sound. I'm pretty sure it's coming from the optical drive, too. I think I can feel a sort of vibration inside of it. It's not a constant sound, it's just like a quick mechanical noise when I turn it on. Any idea what this is?

It might just be the start up of noise of the cd drive; probably because its checking to see if there is a cd in place. Nothing to be that bother about if its only just the cd drive, if your really worried about it, just replace it (only costs like £10/$10).

Yeah, it's probably just starting up, that's the word I was looking for. Doubt there's anything wrong with it, it's just an ugly noise.
