The option is grayed out in the BIOS instead of being blue. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!!!! I'm trying to dual boot or even install
Windows 7 on top of Windows 8. I understand the fix is to switch boot from UEFI to CSM but I can't select that option??????

I am having just that exact problem. Found the switch, made the change to CSM, now it won't boot. Any suggestions?

you cannot have dual boot in that way, both OSes are based in different boot systems, if you already have windows 8 installed or based in UEFI and after try to install windows 7 in a BIOS boot thats impossible. what you can do is to change to CSM legacy mode and reinstall (this means to eliminate windows 8) both OSes in your partitioned hard drive

Well after changing it CSM, restart the laptop and press F12 repeating to bring up the boot selection menu. Then choose the boot from usb option. This is what worked for me as I didn't need to dual boot because I was completely wiping out Windows 8 and replacing it with Windows 7. Hope this helps someone.

[/b]Hello,
Thanks for your help.
Nevertheless, I don't have the option "Secure Boot" in my Bios and then I don't have the option of Boot UEFI or CSM neither.
Can you help please? What shall I do?
