Hi. Recently I'm having lots of problems with my computer. It freezes both during boot-up (before loading Windows) and also while I am using Windows. Sometimes the HDD light is on during the freeze showing HDD activity. While the computer is frozen I cannot use the keyboard, move the mouse or do anything to unfreeze it so I have to reset it using the Reset button. But once I press the Reset button the computer completely shuts down for like 5 seconds and then turns off again. I was thinking it might be the SATA cable so I replaced it today but the freezes keep coming. I also moved the RAM memory to different slots. Still no luck. :(

My computer:

Motherboard: ASUS P5B-SE LGA 775
CPU: Intel Dual Core E2200 (2.2GHz)
PSU: Corsair 500W (fairly new)
Memory: 4GB DDR2 800
HDD: 1TB Western Digital (fairly new)
Video card: AMD Radeon 7750

Any idea what it could be?
Thank you.

have you had a go with out putting all the ram back in as well as moving it around as the slow restart problem sound like a memory or GFX card problem
if you have onboard GFX you could try taking out the 7750 see how it boots
