How can I upgrade my Intel HD Graphics to Intel HD Graphics 4000? Do I need to buy a new graphics card or I'm just going to update or download a software from the internet? Thanks!

Those are 2 different class of graphics. It's like saying I can "download" a faster car. It's not possible sorry.

The only way to upgrade to Intel HD graphics 4000 is to buy a CPU that has that integrated into it. That would require a new motherboard and possibly new memory as well. Is this a desktop or a laptop? You're going to have to spend some serious money to get a better graphics system. Also, Why are you wanting to upgrade?

the only way to do so is to change the CPU (processor) to one that has a 4000 series iGPU built in. Intel's graphics are built into the processor and can not be changed.

there is one option and that would be to get a dedicated graphics card (GPU) to handle the graphics, Assuming this is not a laptop we are talking about. One down fall to this would be the potential to have to change the power supply to accommodate it.

the power supply is the box either at the top or botom of the PC that has all the wires going in to it.

you will need to remove the side cover of the PC in order to get the information off the side.

we need total WATTS an AMPS on the +12V rail.

If it is a pre built machine, with the company name and model number we may be able to find out also.
