This may be a repost, I couldn't locate the first one I did.
I have a computer at work that has decided it will no longer turn on. There are some important files on the hard drive that were not backed up and I need to access the program they were created with. We have an identical computer at work that boots just fine. So I am wondering if it would be possible to just transfer the boot drive from the non working machine to the working one and still have it boot with no ill effects.
Both machines are Dell Vostro 200 Slim towers if that makes any difference.
