I recent just built and new computer and on first start up the monitor showed the motherboard starting screen. But I noticed that the GPU and my external sata was not reading on the motherboard so I turned off my computer swithed the gpu to a different pci slot and also moved the external sata to a different sata slot. Then when I turned on my computer again the monitor displayed nothing.
O, before I turned off my computer the first time, I went to the exit tab and pressed the discard changes and exit because i hadn't made any changes to setting. What did I do wrong.
My mobo is an ASRock z77 extreme4.
ask if you need more info.

I've also tried the gpu display ports and got nothing.

After removing the gpu the UEFI does boot up. is it possible that the gpu is not compatible with it or is the gpu just broken.

Try removing your GPU and resetting your BIOS.
