So i go to install an HP deskjet 3250 AIO printer driver and the install fails becasue it says the spooler is not running, which indeed it is not. So i go to services.msc and click start only to get an error saying the dependencies are not started which are RPCSS and HTTP. I have started RPCSS however i cannot find the HTTP, it is a component not a service. So i go to Control Panel>Programs>Turn windows features on/off>print and fax service> and check the top which says its enables HTTP. Yet still the print spooler will not start saying dependencies are not started. So here are the steps ive take thus far
1.Deleted the drivers from C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers
2. Deleted various reg keys for printers
3. imported the spooler reg folder from a machine with spooler running fine.
4. I may do a system restore but i want to hold off to see if any suggestions fix it before i nuke the system.
