I ve started putting my first new build together and im slightly stumped, My issue is that on the front panel i have 2 usb 2.0 + 2 usb 3.0 sockets, I have plugged the usb plug into the mobo no problem but the usb 3.0 leads have usb connectors on the end and there is no where to plug them, is this normal and do i need to have them hanging out of the rear of the case (surely not)...Any help appreciated..

That case has what they call "Pass through" cables, which mean you have to connect those cables into the back of the mobo. These are basically USB 3.0 extender cables.

Hi, Yep that is a pass through USB 3 connector. It has to go through the holes in the back of the case and then connect on to one of the USB3 ports on the rear of the motherboard. Seems a bit silly but early USB3 ready cases all had this , only later did they have a proper motherboard header type connection.
