Hi All,

So my brother just gave me his Toshiba satellite a200 laptop, work great apart from WiFi was not working. so looked on the net on how to fix this. After hours of research i was led to believe what i needed was a BIOS update.

So i plugged the laptop in to Ethernet and went on to Toshiba website and downloaded the BIOS update/software.

So i installed it and my laptop said please wait and had 17 files it was doing something with. Then once this was complete my laptop restarted and got stuck on the loading page when windows vista loads when it says windows corporation.

This was stuck like this for like 30 mins so i assumed it was not loading so i restarted my laptop by holding down the power button until it shut down.

When ever i turn it back on it keeps getting stuck on this page i keep getting the option to have SAFE MODE, SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING, LAST KNOWN GOOD SOMETHING OR ANOTHER.

Just wondering if any one else experienced this problem and have a simple solution on how to sort this. :??:

Try last know good configuration and keep your fingers crossed. A BIOS update gone wrong can very easily brick your computer. Meaning make it as useful as a brick. Broken permanently.

Hi,

Thank you for your quick response. I have tried all options but it still tries to load and gets stuck on the same screen
