Hello Guys,
I have been a long time admirer of TH and thought I'd join and get the great advice of you guys. I know alog of people
have posted about 3820 overclocking, and i've read alot about what other people have done so thought I'd ask you guys to be 100% sure.
My rig is below and the guys I bought it from have OC it to 4.2 by just upping the Turbo boost to 42 and the vocre to 1.355 (roughly sorry not at home) which goes up to 1.37/1.38.
The system works perfectly and gaming/work is blisteringly fast no problems whatsoever!
Basically I know by setting the 125 * 36 gives 4500, but if anyone could give me a set of instructions of what exactly I change I'd be very greatful. I be happy with a 4.4/4.5 OC for me is more then enough.
CPU: 3820
Mobo: P9x79 Pro
Ram: Kingston HyperX Genesis (1600mhz dual channel)
PSU: TX 750
Graphics: KFA2 670
Cooler: Alpenfohn K2 Mount Doom
