Seems like it's fairly upgradeable but won't need significant upgrades for the next while. Primarily want the specs for gaming. I know some of the components are possibly more than is necessary for current generation games. Any thoughts? Is this worth the money they're asking for it? Been ages since I looked at buying a desktop so any advice would be appreciated.

well honestly, I'm gonna say what other people will say first, Why not build your own.... blah, blah, blah, you get more customization, blah, blah, blah, cheaper, blah...... Now that that is out of the way........

That computer doesn't tell you exactly what model Motherboard it is, ssd, hdd, video card, PSU, cooling system..... For all i know its all basic reference designs and usually the cheapest Mobo, SSD, HDD, PSU, Cooling system... etc.... This is very bad when buying computers when they don't tell you what actual parts are in it, like the PSU, which a no name brand PSU is very deadly to have in a rig of this calibur.

Now to price.... The price isn't actually too bad for this kind of computer, Yes CPU is way overkill which usually prebuilt computers like this usually are overkill, but overall If you absolutely cannot build your own at all.... and you want a high end computer, this price is actually quite nice for those specs...

conclusion = If you absolutely have to buy a prebuilt machine, this computer is Ok-ish for the price take in note ( building your own gives you control over the quality of the parts usually for cheaper)
