Although the difference between the 7850 and the 7870, for the price I think you should go for the 7870 GHz and get the extra ~10 frames. The bonus games should eliminate you worries about price.

I would buy the 7870 that is a good deal. How often do you buy a graphics card? Its worth it to get the best you can afford. The difference now is somewhat minimal. But It will push the life of the computer a little further before an upgrade. Just for you reference here is the 7850 vs 7870 benchmarks. So you can decide if the difference is worth it for your wants/needs.

My only worry was that it was a single fan and all the others were double fans. I don't know how hot this card gets, so it might not even matter.

It shouldn't matter that much. All the stock AMD and nVidia cards have a single fan. If your not planning to overclock than it should be fine.

7870, you could always get a third party GPU cooler.
