Hi there. I'm looking to buy a video card for about £150 which I would like to play most games at 1080p on. I am not bothered if I have to turn down the quality on the newest of games. I would like 2GB of GDDR5 memory for futureproofing. I am not bothered whether it is AMD or Nvidia. What GPU would you recommend?

Sadly now they are around 220 pounds .

@ chronic: You mean £180 like this? :)

Really, you're not trying! Report to the Head teachers study at once! ;)
@ GamingPudding: Before making any really meaningful suggestions we need to know more about your system: CPU, memory, 32 or 64 bit OS, monitor resolution and, power supply details.
I suspect you may have to hurry, when rumour of this gets out they're likely to sell out very quickly!

Oop. Sorry about that. It is a new PC I am planning on building so the parts aren't absolutely finally decided yet. My PC plan as of now...

Intel Core i3-3220
Gigabyte GTX 660
MSI B75A-G41
WD 500GB Caviar Blue
OCZ Agility 3 60GB SSD
8GB Kingston HyperX 1600MHz
Corsair CX500
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit

Sorry but I really have no idea what the monitor resolution is. It was manufactured a while back though - I think 2005.

I hope this is enough info!
